Over the years we have always rescued small animal, although predominantly we are a horse rescue. At first it would be the odd rabbit found running around the road or in someones garden, or a small animal such as degu’s, budgies, guinea pigs that other associations could not foster/or have the facilities to keep.
The numbers were always kept to a minimum due to being kept at Amy and Shaun’s home before the move to Thornton Hough. Though often still had 20+
Since the move in 2016 there has been a steady turn over in small animals, with now having better facilities. We have taken in over 100 small animals and rehomed over 50% so felt it was time to include this information on our website.
We have had, pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, lambs, various wild birds, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and I have probably forgotten a few.
I will build on this page as I can with photo’s etc, but you can always contact us or pop in to see if we have anything needing a home if you feel you can offer one subject to a home check. Not all the animals in the photos will be for rehoming they are just a selection of what we have rescued.
