Over the years we have always rescued small animal, although predominantly we are a horse rescue. At first it would be the odd rabbit found running around the road or in someones garden, or a small animal such as degu’s, budgies, guinea pigs that other associations could not foster/or have the facilities to keep.
The numbers were always kept to a minimum due to being kept at Amy and Shaun’s home before the move to Thornton Hough. Though often still had 20+
Since the move in 2016 there has been a steady turn over in small animals, with now having better facilities. We have taken in over 100 small animals and rehomed over 50 so felt it was time to include this information on our website.
We have had, pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, lambs, various wild birds, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and I have probably forgotten a few.
I will build on this page as I can with photo’s etc, but you can always contact us or pop in to see if we have anything needing a home if you feel you can offer one subject to a home check. Not all the animals in the photos will be for rehoming they are just a selection of what we have rescued.
